VIC: "Learner" at wheel of car when four died: police

MELBOURNE, Feb 22 AAP - A 17-year-old unlicensed driver was behind the wheel of a car that
crashed into a tree and exploded in flames, incinerating four teenage joyriders, Victorian
police said today.

The driver, who had only a learner's permit, was among those killed in what police have
described as a "horror" smash at Myers Flat near Bendigo, in central Victoria, yesterday.

to us that either these kids or other youngsters in the area had been doing …
