Qld: Former PM Howard to address party faithful in Brisbane

Former prime minister JOHN HOWARD will address Liberal Party members and guests in
Brisbane later this month .. in his first public speech in Australia since his November
election defeat.

The Queensland Liberal Party's charging people up to 250 dollars a head fot the dinner
at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on April 14.

Liberal Party deputy state director PETER EPSTEIN says it's basically for Mr HOWARD
to talk about his achievements .. and also to thank the party faithful.

A similar event will be held in New South Wales two weeks later.
